No. 45: SPRING BARN SALE

We're having a Springtime barn sale! And the barn is overflowing with great stuff; tons of vintage beauts, primitive and industrial pieces, school room maps, tables, chairs, storage, taxidermy, kitschy kitchenware, lighting, signage, boxes, crates, hardware, antique tools, cans, factory carts, feed sacks, oddities, etc, etc, etc. It's gonna be a good one!
Check back for photos and updates.

No. 44: WINTER PICKS

On this smokin’ hot mid March day (what’s going on with the weather?!?) I thought I'd head out to the barn and take a little stock of the Winter’s scrounging finds from Ontario to West Virginia. Huh, I found some ok stuff.

No. 43: IT’S ALWAYS JANUARY IN RED OAK, IOWA

I just scored this amazing collection (20 in all) of beautiful vintage calendar posters. As far as I can tell they were likely specialty promo mailers made by the Ad calendar company. These posters are huge (30" x 41") and printed on thick textured stock. They're mostly illustrated with tip-on calendars.

No. 41: FOG AND FROST

I woke this morning to an astounding white fog and heavy frost and went traipsing through the ten acres.

No. 40: AUTUMN BARN SALE: DONE LIKE DINNER

I restored this awesome old field table which is on its way to Toronto.

Another original piece. Reclaimed steel frame fitted with a heavy slab pine top.

An original piece. Reclaimed industrial steel frame on castors re-imagined as a serving cart which I fitted with a mix of reclaimed wood, hardwoods and spruce. This one went back to Toronto too.
